Yes, we are always accepting new patients. When you call our office, we will match you with one of our dentists based on your needs and wants.
We offer 12-month no-interest payment plans.
Nothing we do should hurt or be uncomfortable; you are in control of your appointment. Our dentists have the most excellent technique for local anesthesia (aka numbing/freezing). As a new patient, your first appointment may take up to 90 minutes, depending on your dental needs and wants. We schedule your regular hygiene check-up appointments for an hour. Dental procedures vary in time depending on the procedure. If you need to be out by a certain time, kindly let us know so we may accommodate you.
Our “happy employees = happy patients” philosophy is working. Much of our staff and hygienists have been with us for many years. We believe that there is a direct correlation between employee longevity and patient satisfaction, so we do everything in our power to make our staff and hygienists happy.

Our goal is to detect problems or issues in their early stages, treat them, and give you peace of mind so that you aren’t thinking about your teeth when you are on vacation, out on the boat, or even in the middle of an important event meeting. All of our staff is highly trained and experienced in dentistry. We require all of our staff, including administrative, to be certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED every two years. Michigan Law requires dentists to have 60 hours of CEs every three years. Dr. Jaffe far exceeds that with over 200 hours. Dr. Jaffe attends quarterly endodontic study groups to stay up to date with the latest techniques to make root canals and create a better experience and results for the patient. Michigan Law also requires hygienists to complete 34 CEs every three years, and all of our hygienists far exceed that requirement.
When you call or submit an inline request to schedule your first appointment, our administrative staff will interview you to pair you with the dentist that best suits your needs and wants. Next, our hygienist may do a thorough cleaning and evaluation of your gum tissue at your appointment. Your paired dentist will then do a comprehensive exam and review your health, and find ways to improve oral health in conjunction with overall health.
Our office is HIPAA compliant. We have gone to great lengths to make sure your information is secure. We have become a paperless/chartless office, so patient information is not lost or lying around for others to see. We have implemented a separate Free WIFI signal for patient use to avoid compromising our office network.
Getting routine dental X-rays is important in detecting early tooth decay and other dental pathologies. With our office’s advanced digital radiology system, the radiation exposure time is less than a second, which is less than you would get from making one phone call on your cell phone.
To ensure a positive dental experience, we educate you on the treatments/services you entrust us to perform and frequently monitor your comfort during the entire visit.
Our dentists, hygienists, and staff continually stay up to date with dentistry advancements by attending continuing education courses, attending lunch & learns with local specialists, and reading renowned dental articles and magazines.
It is imperative to see your physician regularly to review your overall health. Your mouth is an entry into your body, and it’s important that you keep it clean. Oral health links to many health conditions or diseases. If you are a person that snores, you should ask your physician about sleep apnea and if it affects you. Sleep apnea is a life-threatening condition. Our office offers a sleep apnea device as an alternative to C-Pap machines for those that find it uncomfortable or claustrophobic.
Dental instruments are reusable and require proper sterilization to avoid cross-contamination issues. All of our instruments go through a rigorous sterilization process. We place our instruments in an ultrasonic cleaner for 15 or more minutes with a special solution to remove any buildup or materials on the instruments. They are then removed, scrubbed, rinsed off, and securely packaged. After we package the instruments, we place them in a sterilization machine called an autoclave which sanitizes instruments using extremely high-temperature steam for 20 minutes. They then go through a cooling process of 30 minutes before being removed and placed back into circulation. Our autoclave efficacy is monitored monthly by an outside testing service to ensure proper sterilization.

We also offer CareCredit and SpringStone healthcare financing plans. As a courtesy, if you have insurance, we will bill your insurance for payment, and all estimated co-pays are due when services are rendered.
The doctor will review your medical and dental history with you and ask if you have any current concerns or issues currently. After reviewing your X-rays, the doctor will do a thorough exam to check your teeth, gums, TMJ (jaw joints), and screen for oral cancer. He will then go over areas of concern and discuss treatment options.
Your treatment will be explained thoroughly, and all costs will be reviewed and approved before beginning any treatment.
We accept all major dental insurances. Please call our office at 734-479-4111 to confirm if we accept your dental insurance. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not accept Medicaid.
