At Jaffe Dental Group, our highly trained dentists and staff offer a preventive approach to your dental care. Our goal is to detect problems or issues in their early stages, treat them, and give you peace of mind so that you aren’t thinking about your teeth when you are on vacation, out on the boat, or even in the middle of an important event or meeting. You deserve to enjoy life, and the last thing anyone wants is to worry about going to the dentist.

When you come to our office, it’s not your normal dental appointment; we treat you like family. We want to know about you, your family, your hobbies, and what you did last weekend. We care not just about your teeth but also about you as a person!

We hold ourselves to rigorous standards, requiring all staff members, including our administrative team, to renew their certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED (automated external defibrillator) every two years. Additionally, in accordance with Michigan law, our dentists are mandated to complete 60 hours of continuing education (CE) every three years, and hygienists must complete 34 hours of CE every three years.

Our office is HIPAA-compliant, making sure your information is secure. We have become a paperless/chartless office, so patient information is not lost or lying around for others to see. We’ve also implemented a separate free WIFI signal for patients to use to avoid compromising our office network.

Getting routine dental X-rays is important in detecting early tooth decay and other dental pathologies. With our office’s advanced digital radiology system, the radiation exposure time is less than a second, which is less than you would get from making one phone call on your cell phone.

The Jaffe Dental Group staff continuously stay up to date with dentistry advancements by attending continuing education courses, lunch and learns with local specialists, and reading renowned dental articles.

Anything that you feel is relevant should be disclosed to our hygienists and dentists prior to your treatment. This can include:

  • Pain or discomfort
  • Dental anxiety
  • Lifestyle choices, including smoking or vaping
  • Whether or not you’re pregnant
  • Conditions or medications that may cause complications
  • Any other concerns regarding your oral hygiene

All of our instruments go through a rigorous sterilization process to avoid cross-contamination issues. We place the instruments in an ultrasonic cleaner for 15 minutes with a specialized solution to remove any buildup or materials on the instruments. They are then removed, scrubbed, rinsed off, and securely packaged.

After we package the instruments, we place them in an autoclave sterilization machine, which sanitizes instruments using extremely high-temperature steam for 20 minutes. After this, a 30-minute cooling period is observed before the instruments are retrieved and returned to circulation.

To guarantee the effectiveness of our sterilization process, we have an external testing service that conducts monthly assessments of our autoclave, providing an extra layer of assurance that our instruments consistently meet the highest standards of sterilization.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover). Additionally, we also accept CareCredit financing plans.

For those who plan to pay with dental insurance, we will bill your insurance company, and all estimated co-pays will be due when services are rendered.

Yes, we accept all major dental insurance except for Medicaid. Please call our office at (734) 479-4111 to confirm that we accept your dental insurance plan.

Of course! We don’t want you paying for a service you cannot afford. Our professionals will thoroughly explain your treatment and all costs associated with it before beginning the procedure.

As a new patient, your first appointment may take up to 90 minutes, depending on your current oral hygiene. Our regularly scheduled check-up appointments take up to an hour, and more extensive dental procedures vary in time based on the treatment. If you’re in a time crunch, please let us know prior to your appointment so we can accommodate you accordingly.
